Our Thoughts on the ST Dupont Slim 7 Single Flame :
Before I get start my review, I have to say I don’t own one of the Slim7 lighters. I recently did have the opportunity to purge and fill one of these AMAZING lighters for a friend. They feel a little delicate, but seem pretty tough and obviously well-made. This is not a lighter that I would take out on a hike in the woods or even take to work. Anyway, I love the side trigger and how smooth it is when lighting it up.
The flat-ish flame is small, but not too small, and works great. There is no fuel window, but as slim as this lighter is there is nowhere to put it. The flame adjuster is small and needs a screwdriver to be adjusted. I am not a fan of these types of flame adjusters, but again, as thin as this lighter is there are no other options that I can even imagine. The Slim 7 is for sure a luxury item and the price reflects it. You can pick one of these up starting at around $130 USD.
