What Colibri Says about the Apex Single Torch

Our Thoughts On The Colibri Apex
A friend of mine got one of these Colibri Apex lighters and he was annoyed it “didn’t work right.” After I purged it, filled it up, and set the flame, everything worked fine. After that, I had to get one for myself! The slide-up ignition is smooth and I love that the top pops open when lighting it. Of course, the blue fuel window from Colibri is awesome and works well. The rubber grip feels good in my hand and I love the way it looks.
The manufacturer’s description says it’s great for “small or large ring gauge cigars.” With that said, yes it will work. Being a single flame torch I personally wouldn’t use it for bigger sticks, unless it was all I had to light up with.
The thing I don’t like about the Apex is the adjusting wheel. There is nothing wrong with it I guess. It feels too tight next to the body of the lighter, and with my fat fingers. It felt a little awkward to adjust, but not difficult or anything…just awkward.
